Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara College of Education, Kurnool, is one of the NCTE-approved institutions for preparing future generation educators through offering various education programs with a completely transparent admission process.  Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara College of Education basically follows a merit-based admission process. The admission to its programs is based on qualifying marks by the candidate in respective qualifying examinations and/or entrance tests.  The college follows a transparent selection process regarding all the programs. Application Process

1. Eligibility Check: Make sure that you meet the academic requirements for the selected program (B.Ed, D.Ed or M.Ed). 

2. Entrance Test: Prepare for and take the relevant entrance examination if required by the state government or the affiliated university.

3. Application Submission: Complete and submit the admission application form, which would probably be accessed directly from the college's website or the admissions office. 

4. Document Submission: Attach all necessary documents required by the College, including academic transcripts, scores (if applicable) of the above entrance exams, and any other required certification as listed by the College.

5. Merit List: Wait for the merit list to be announced based on the qualifying examination scores and/or results of an entrance test. 

6. Counseling and Seat Allotment: If selected, proceed to counseling for seat allotment.

7. Fee Payment: Complete admission formalities by making the requisite fee payments in case of seat allocation.

8. Document Verification: Submit originals documents for verification at the point of admission.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara College of Education has permission to maintain an intake of 100 students for the B.Ed program. The selection process for the B.Ed program would also take into consideration the scores awarded based on a qualifying examination and/or an entrance test. It might change according to policies provided by the government of the state, UT Administration, or affiliated university.

D.Ed (Diploma in Education): The number of seats offered under D.Ed is 100. The admission criteria to be followed for every D.Ed program must be based on merit resulting from the qualifying examination and/or by an entrance test. These criteria are subject to being determined by the respective governing authorities for the program.

M.Ed (Master of Education): It has approved intake of 50 seats for M.Ed program. Admission to this advanced-level program is made on the basis of merit, considering marks scored in the qualifying examination and in the entrance examination. The selection process may include additional criteria as per the policies of the state government, central government, university or UT Administration.
