The approved titled college is Sri Prabhu Rajendra College of Physical Education situated in Gadag, Karnataka, and the college offers education in physical education only. This co-educational college was founded in 1987 to produce future physical education professionals for more than three decades. Located in a relatively small plot of land totalling five acres in extent, the college provides a more contained learning experience to its learners. 

Currently, the institute boasts 34 learners with an equal faculty strength of 4, enabling us to fully address the needs of each learner. There is a gymnasium where muscular strength and features of fitness may be developed, and there are technical laboratories where practical work is carried out. Covers health and safety where there is a health facility for first aid clinics stationed within the compound of the college/university.

Sri Prabhu Rajendra College of Physical Education currently offers one primary course: the Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed). This programme takes two years to complete and has the intent of producing qualified teachers in physical education and professional sports personnel. In this course, the college has an approved admission capacity of 100 students, and the capacity of the college shows that it is able to deliver quality education in the field. 

The total student intake is portrayed as 34; however, we can assume that this is a current total enrolment, not a total possible enrolment.
