Sri Prabhu Rajendra College of Physical Education, situated at Gadag, is an institution dedicated to training physical educators. Structured as a coeducational institution, the college trains physical education professionals, having existed for more than thirty years. Degree wise Admission Process

B.P.Ed (Bachelor of Physical Education):

Organized as a two-year course, the B.P.Ed. program at the Sri Prabhu Rajendra College of Physical Education is intended to prepare teachers of physical education and professionals in other sports-related trades. In this program, the college has sanctioned and approved an intake of a maximum of 100 students aimed at providing quality education in the area of study.

Admissions into the B.P.Ed program strictly rely on merit, ranked according to selection by the entrance examination and the marks withing the qualifying examination. 

The admission process shall encompass:

2. Sports Proficiency Test
3. Physical Fitness Test
4. Marks gained in the qualifying examination

The total marks are then computed based on the composite score in these components as per the policies of the university/state government or UT administration.
