St. Theresa College of Education, Dharwad is a co-educational institution and is affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Eligibility criteria for admission will generally be on the lines of the stipulation of the NCTE and the affiliated university. The candidates are expected to pass their higher secondary school examination (10+2) or equivalent education from a board recognised by the NCTE. There might be some specific percentage-wise eligibility criteria in the qualifying examination that might differ from course to course and shall need a direct confirmation with the college.
B.Ed.: St. Theresa College of Education, Dharwad provides a full-time two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme, with a sanctioned intake of 50 students for this programme. St. Theresa College admission to the B.Ed programme is based on merit, which considers marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or performance in entrance examination as specified by the policies of the state government and affiliated university. The B.Ed programme prepares students through a mix of theoretical learning with practical exposure to the field of teaching.
