Uma Krishna Shetty Institute of Management Studies and Research is a relatively young business management institute that has existed since 2012. It has been training prospective business leaders with the help of its faculty team. Its location in Kurla East is within the strategical locality of the city. This campus is across 0.659 acres and is co-educational. The infrastructure houses all necessary modern-day amenities, besides ensuring a serene and focused learning environment for our students. The institute provides amenities that can supplement the learning of its students like a Library with over 2000 books and 37 journals, with the E-journal "EBSCO," a hub of knowledge for research and study. The institute provides several departmental laboratories that have been designed to aid in the implementing into practice of learning. The campus houses a 1000-seated auditorium designed to organize a number of events, seminars, and guest lectures in view of enhancing the perspective of the students. There is a provision for gyms and sports to maintain the overall growth of the learners. To stay connected and gain information from the internet, the campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. Uma Krishna Shetty Institute of Management Studies and Research runs one full-time postgraduate program, the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). The PGDM is a full two-year course that enrolls 60 students to enable and maintain quality education with controlled class size. The PGDM program at UKSIMSR specifically inculcates students with the required competencies and knowledge that would ensure their success in the continuously changing dynamics in business and management.
