Venkteshwara College of Education, Sonipat, is a well-reputed institution for teacher education. Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The B.Ed course offered by Venkteshwara College of Education is a two-year full-time course aimed at preparing pre-service teachers. Admission to the B.Ed course is purely merit-based, and these merit scores are based entirely on marks in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination. A sanctioned intake of 100 seats is approved for this program. The required eligibility criteria for applying include having completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.

M.Ed (Master of Education): Master of postgraduates availing of this course is for those wishing to subsequently read more about education or indulge in research-related concerns. In granting admission to this two-year course, admission will be on a merit basis in reference to marks obtained in either the qualifying examination and/or any entrance examination conducted pursuant to any other such selection process as any stipulations by the policy of state government, university, or U.T. Administration. There are 50 seats available for the M.Ed course, and candidates should have a bachelor's degree in education (B.Ed) or any equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): The D.El.Ed course aims at training teachers in primary education. Admission to the above-mentioned course is based on merit. D.El.Ed has an intake of 50 students. Eligibility for this programme is 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
