B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): Maximum number of seats for B.Ed course is in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College of Education, which is 200. Admission is on merit basis for B.Ed course on marks obtained in entrance test and/or qualifying test. Selection process is according to State Government/UT administration and affiliating university guideline. The candidates should have passed or passed out in the concerned discipline to be considered eligible for B.Ed.
M.Ed (Master of Education): For the M.Ed course having a strength of 50 seats, the admission is done through an entrance test held by the concerned university. The interested candidates who want to take the M.Ed course have to clear the entrance test in order to get considered for the admission. The decision is final depending on the performance in the entrance test and any other norms laid down by the university or state government.
D.Ed (Diploma in Education): Admission in D.Ed is 50 seats. Like the case of the B.Ed programme, the admission in D.Ed is on merit basis based on marks scored in the entrance test and/or qualifying test. The choice will be as per the state government/UT administration policy. Students possessing higher secondary course (10+2) can apply for D.Ed.
