The college has separate hostels for boys with 24*7 security and respective rectors. The buildings are close to each other within walking distance of the campus and are named after legendary people;, for example, Sarojini Naidu and Kalpana Chawla for the girl’s hostel. This is also a part of the motivation for students as they feel unique when they step into the hostel rooms. The hostels have a common room also called a T.V room enabled with a Television and sitting arrangements as a part of the entertainment and even enjoyment during cricket matches or other events. The hostels have a secured WiFi facility for students and staff to browse and research for their assignments.

The medical and pharmaceutical facilities are provided by the college which is capable of handling any kind of issues on campus pertaining to students and staff. An ambulance is parked 24*7 in case of an emergency at the campus to reduce the risk of any unforeseen event. “Prevention is better than cure.” On each floor of all buildings, an emergency first aid kit with a fire extinguisher and water pipelines are mounted to overcome unconditional calamities.
The college is moving rapidly in technology sophisticated world but hard copy is a preferred medium chosen by students from ancient eras. Our library wardrobe consists of the huge quantum of books split between authors, topics, subjects, magazines, and newspapers. An entire silent zone with a mechanized search system is serviced by a librarian who is skilled enough to handle all concerns of students. Overall we have a stock of 16519 books. In the non-stop tsunami of global information, Library provides us with floaties and teaches us how to swim. We cannot overstate the importance of the library in an educational institute. Hence it is necessary to have a mechanism for the availability & dissemination of information the knowledge center at polytechnic plays a pivotal role in the era. Accession, location & retrieval of required knowledge resource is of utmost importance. To serve this purpose, we have opted for ‘Digital Library’ which is the system of computers connected with the internet. Barcode technology is used for issuing the books, for which the Library Management System is utilized. All the students, faculty members & employees of the institution are entitled to make use of the Library. LIBRARY RULES. The student must carry their Smart Card with them whenever they visit Library. Readers are advised to use the Reading Room only for studying. A discussion is not allowed in Library. Mobile Phone is not allowed in Library. Members are requested to issue the book from Library as per rules only. Books are required to be brought physically for renewal. Fine is charged for the late return of the book. Users must replace the book if lost with the latest edition along with charges. Books will be reserved according to demands.
The campus has facilities of the tennis court, badminton hall, basketball court, and football ground. For those who are passionate about the gym, we have an equipped gymnasium with the associate trainer for correct guidance and methods to be followed.
The college has air-conditioned labs enabled with internet and licensed software applications connected to the network. Wi-Fi facility is provided as another mandatory thing so students are not restricted to labs or spend money in café for projects and programming.
The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. Every ward desire & has a right to food which is hygiene and healthy. We believe when a student’s health is good; the halfway is achieved in their progress.
A mandatory facility as a part of modern and technology-based education fully equipped and automatic seminar halls are architected with advance mounted projector and screen. The student themselves can operate utilizing the additional facilities of audio-video and recording system with prior permission.
An equally important transport facility is completely managed by the institution for Officially Organised Industrial Visits and Tours.
The Alumni Cell also looks after the Alumni Association of DYP which as described above keeps in touch with the alumni members. These are registered alumni who are covered by the DYP magazines through subscription. They get access to college festivals, events, merchandise, and sports program which indirectly helps the juniors for networking.
