Academics
The quality of teaching is fine, all the reading materials are provided by teachers and assignments and interactive projects are also given which also help in exposure of the real world. The curriculum is also well updated.
College Infra
Gokhale college offers a well maintained campus with spacious classrooms, vibrant library and clean common areas.
Though some facilities are dated overall infrastructure is nice for smooth learning of the student.
Campus Life
Good
Placements
The placements of the college have gone down in the recent years especially from the batch of 2024, only 30% of the batch could get placed from campus. Not enough companies came in the recent years which was problematic.
Value For Money
The course fees is around 2.5 lpa per annum, yes.

Academics
In the university there are many faculty , maximum of them are completed their Ph.D . and they share their knowledge it is useful for our higher studies. explanation in the classes are good. curriculum is changed according to the industry requirement.
College Infra
The college infrastructure is functional yet somewhat outdated. Classrooms lack modern amenities and while the library offers essential resources , more digital offerings and extended hours would be more . Campus is neat and clean.
Placements
The placements of the college is fantastic. All most 90% of the students get placed. The average package offered was 5 lakh per annum and the highest package was 14 lakh per annum and that package goes to the marketing field.

M.Sc Economics - Batch of 2025-01-01
Academics
The curriculum is up to date. Professors cab be cooperative if one is willing to reach up to them and ask for advice. They have become strict with the attendance lately. The institute is known for being one of the oldest in India for economic reasearch.
College Infra
The infrastructure is very good for us and our hostel and classrooms are well maintained. There is sometimes issue of water and electricity, mess food is fine, the library is awesome. The wifi is an issue at times.
Campus Life
The location is a prime location in Pune, although a bit expensive. There are treks all around, greenery and a lot of people. Good if you can use it well. The location is safe, close to the railway station of Pune, hence easily reachable.
Placements
The placement cell is active. Although the placements have not gone very high last year and this year as of yet. The packages offered are average, and the ratio of placement is yet to be observed and seen
Value For Money
The total course is of about 4.5 lakhs for the 2 years. This excludes the hostel fees, which is extra. The course cost somewhat is close to cost of courses offered in MSE and IIFT. But yes, what would be the return of it depends on the students.
