Indus University, Ahmedabad has a training and placement cell to organise the placement procedure for the students. Training sessions on personality development and communication skills are also conducted for students to help them prepare better for the overall recruitment process. The university also makes sure that they can help most of the students getting placed into various companies by helping them in every possible way. Indus University, Ahmedabad also conducts mock tests and practice session classes on Aptitude, Quantitative Ability, Logical and Reasoning to make students practice and get better before appearing for the final Interview and Written test. Detailed description on the whole procedure of placement followed by the Training & Placement cell of the Institute are mentioned below in steps.
The Training & Placement cell coordinates with the recruitment companies and sends an annexure to those companies and the recruiters in return need to fill all necessary information in the annexure.
The Training and Placement Cell then fixes their dates with various recruiters based on the salary packages and other eligibility criteria offered by the recruitment companies.
Students need to register themselves with the T&P cell for the placement drive along with all required documents and students satisfying all eligibility criteria will be asked to proceed further for the recruitment process.
Recruiters will then fix dates with Indus University, Ahmedabad to visit the campus for conducting the recruitment process via various steps including Written Test, Group discussion and Interview.
Students are given pre-placement talks by different recruiting companies to make them aware about the policies, roles and job profiles offered by them.
Students of the university also need to appear and qualify a written test classified into different sections including Quantitative aptitude, Logical and Reasoning ability, English competency etc to test the skills and basic knowledge of students.
Students of Indus University, Ahmedabad who will qualify the written test also need to qualify Group Discussion on topics decided by the recruiters to judge the communication and speaking skills of students. The university also offers admissions to Dual Degree MCA (BCA + MCA)/ Dual Degree MSc (BSc + MSc) (CA & IT) programmes based on the merit, to M.E/M.Tech programmes based on GATE scores, to MBA programmes based on CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ Indus–MAT scores, to MCA/ M.Sc/ M.A programmes based on merit and to Ph.D programmes based on the scores of Indus University Research Aptitude Test (IURAT) followed by a round of research presentation and personal interview conducted by the university. Yes the college has amazing infrastructure vast areas to discover yourself and behold yourself for studying , the perfect environment that is mandatory for studying properly and enjoying the studies . Well collage has no ac bcoz of which sometimes students dont feel like studying or they cant concentrate due to massive heat in Ahmedabad city so in collage and there are 2 building only which needed few more lifts bcoz its very exhausting to take a staircase way
