About GUJCET 2020
The admission committee for professional courses (ACPC) has released GUJCET round 2 seat allotment through the official website. Candidates need to login and pay the necessary fees to confirm their admission. The round 2 counselling registration process concluded on October 19. GUJCET 2020 result was announced on September 5. GUJCET 2020 first round seat allotment and the mock round of GUJCET counselling were declared on October 7 and September 25 respectively. GUJCET 2020 was conducted on August 24 for admission to Bachelor of Engineering and Technology/Bachelor of Pharmacy courses in government, grant-in-aid and self-financed engineering institutions in the state. Also, candidates will be able to ask for the OMR sheet xerox copy as per the specified schedule. GSEB released provisional GUJCET answer key on August 28 and candidates were allowed to raise their objections till September 1. GUJCET hall ticket was released by GSEB on August 13.
The GUJCET application form was available till August 7 after it was reopened on July 18. Earlier, the final date to submit the application form without late fee was February 15. However, the candidates were able to submit the application form by paying an additional late fee of Rs. 1200 till February 19. The authorities started registration for GUJCET counselling on July 9 which was available till September 11.
GUJCET 2020 entrance exam is conducted in offline mode by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). The question paper of GUJCET 2020 consists of three hours duration and comprises multiple-choice questions. Please note that the role of GSEB will end with the declaration of result. The remaining part of the admission process, including counselling and seat allotment, are conducted by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). Registrations have started and counselling will be conducted based on the merit list that will be drawn up by giving 40% weightage to percentile obtained by the candidate in GUJCET 2020 and 60% weightage to percentile obtained in board exams.

GUJCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
GUJCET B.Tech Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of GUJCET 2020 lists the terms and conditions that the candidate needs to meet in order to be considered for admission. In case a candidate doesn’t meet the eligibility criteria of GUJCET 2020, but qualifies in the entrance exam, the candidate will still be disqualified from the admission process. So, it is mandatory to meet the eligibility criteria before filling the application form.
- Nationality – Indian nationals are eligible to appear in the exam.
- State Eligibility – The candidate needs to be a bona-fide resident of Gujarat. In such cases where the candidate is a bona-fide resident but is residing in another, the candidate is eligible to appear in the admission process.
- Academic Qualification – The candidates must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) exam from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/CBSE Delhi/CISCE New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board. Candidates who are appearing in their final exam in 2020 are also eligible.
- Qualifying Marks – Minimum required aggregate score in 45% marks ( reserved category candidates need 40% marks).
GUJCET B.Pharma Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of GUJCET 2020 for B.Pharm candidates can have subtle differences from those mandated for Bachelor and Engineering and Technology courses. So, candidates appearing for B.Pharm must take note of this fact.
- Nationality – Indian citizens are eligible.
- State Eligibility – The candidate must be a resident of Gujarat. If the candidate is a bona-fide resident but is residing in another, in such cases also the candidate is eligible to appear in the exam.
- Academic Qualification – The candidates must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) exam from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/CBSE Delhi/CISCE New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board. Candidates who are appearing in their final exam in 2020 are also eligible. The candidate must have studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any one of Maths or Biology.
- Qualifying Marks – Minimum required aggregate score in 45% marks ( reserved category candidates need 40% marks).

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has closed the GUJCET registrations. The application form was reopened from July 18 and last date of submission with payment of late fee was August 7. Earlier, the application forms were released on January 21. The last date to submit the application was February 15 (without late fee) and February 19 with an additional late fee of Rs 1200. Before filling the GUJCET 2020 application form, candidates had to check the prescribed eligibility criteria.

Steps to fill GUJCET Application Form 2020
- Registration: Candidates had to register by entering the required details.
- Payment of fee: Next, candidates had to login and pay the application fee of GUJCET 2020 in online mode. The payment of Rs. 300 will be allowed through SBI Epay System (credit card/debit card/net banking) or from any SBI branch of the Country through SBI Epay Option of “SBI Branch Payment.” The late fee is Rs. 1500 (Rs. 300 + Rs. 1200).
- Filling of Application Form: In this step, the candidate had to enter their personal, academic and contact details.
- Uploading of documents: Candidates had to upload the scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Submission of Filled Application Form: In the last step, candidates had to check the application form correctly and submit it. Candidates will also be required to note down the application number that will be generated after submission of the application form.

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board released the GUJCET admit card 2020 on August 13. The admit card of GUJCET 2020 was available online and candidates were able to download after entering their email ID or mobile number and GUJCET 2020 application number or date of birth. GUJCET 2020 admit card is an important document without which the candidates were not allowed inside the exam hall; in fact, the candidate must keep it safe and undamaged until the admission process is over. Previously, the admit card was released on March 16, however a new one was generated since the examination has been postponed.
Steps to download GUJCET Admit Card 2020
- Go to the admit card download portal
- Log-in using registered mobile number/email id and date of birth/application number
- The admit card will be displayed on the screen upon successful log-in.
Check that details mentioned on the GUJCET admit card is correct and legible, and then download and print take a printout.
Forgot mobile number or email ID? Click on the option given on the download window and enter details like last name, middle name and first name. The details will be available.

The authorities have released provisional answer key of GUJCET 2020 which contains the correct answers to questions asked in the exam. Candidates were also allowed to raise objections against the same till September 1 by sending an email along with necessary proofs at gsebsciencekey2020@gmail.com. By comparing the official answers, candidates will thus be able to calculate the total number of questions correctly attempted and consequently the probable score. They will have to follow the marking scheme prescribed by GSEB while using GUJCET 2020 answer key. The probable score can be used by the candidate to access his/her chances of admission without having to wait for results. The final answer key will be published after addressing all such complaints.
GUJCET result 2020 has been declared in online mode on September 5. GUJCET 2020 result has been released on the official website gujcet.gseb.org. GUJCET 2020 result include details like the marks and percentile scored by the candidate in the entrance exam. Candidates will be allowed to ask OMR sheet xerox copy within the specified dates. The merit list of GUJCET 2020 will be prepared by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) for shortlisting candidates for the counselling process. The final merit list will be prepared by giving 60% weightage to 10+2th (or equivalent) percentile and 40% weightage to GUJCET percentile. Candidates who are ranked high in GUJCET merit list 2020 will be called first for counselling, and thus stand a better chance of getting a preferred seat.
The GUJCET participating institutes will determine institute-wise cutoffs of GUJCET 2020 for admission to various B.Tech/B.E courses offered by them. GUJCET 2020 cutoff will also be category- and branch-specific, is generally the minimum marks below which admission is not offered. So, candidates need to score equal to or higher than the GUJCET cutoff 2020 for the specific institute and branch. Considering the cutoffs are prepared based on parameters like number of sanctioned seats, applications received for admission, and reputation of the institute, they tend to vary from one another.

ACPC has released the Round 2 GUJCET counselling and seat allotment result in online mode on November 4. The registration process for round 2 has closed on October 19. To participate in the GUJCET 2020 counselling process, the candidate had to register and fill choices.
GUJCET 2020 Seat Allotment
ACPC has released the result of GUJCET seat allotment (Round 2) in online mode on November 4. The candidate who has been allotted a seat in the second round will have the option to freeze (accept) the seat or opt for up-gradation from Nov 5 to 8. Round 1 seat allotment of GUJCET was announced on October 7. If the seats remain vacant after students withdrawal, additional spot/institute level, separate counselling will also be conducted. The counseling process is then followed by admission formalities for shortlisted candidates and payment of the GUJCET course fee.

GUJCET 2021 exam is to be conducted in three mediums of language , i.e. hindi, english and gujarati. exam will be conducted for 3 hours in which physics and chemistry will be given 120 minutes and mathematics will be given 60 minutes. To know more, visit here:

Gujarat secondary and higher secondary education board (GSHSEB) every year xonduct GUJCET which is state level comman entrance test. This entrance exam is conducted every year for admission into engineering and pharmacy courses in various institution located in Gujarat state.
GUJCET is an offline mode exam which you can give in any of the language in English, hindi Or gujrati.
Gujcet 2021 will be conducted in the second week of May 2021.

GUJCET is an entrance exam to get admission in B.E/B.Tech and B.Pharma courses offered in government, government aided and private engineering colleges of Gujarat state. If you are interested to seek admission in to Veterinary then you need to appear for NEET UG and qualify in it. The eligibility criteria to appear for NEET UG is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English from a recognised board. Candidates belonging to general category must pass with minimum 50% marks in PCB subjects for SC/ST/OBC it is minimum 40% marks and for PWD it is 45% marks.
