Aryavart Institute of Higher Education (AIHE) is an self financing institution. It was established in the year 2005. The Co-educational Institute is situated opposite Ambedkar University on Shaheed Path in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, on an imposing campus area of 8.574 acres. AIHE is affiliated by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It has following seven undergraduate level degree programmes in the education sector. The Institute accommodates nearly 507 students and has 38 teaching staff, so that there is a healthy students-to-teachers ratio. 

There is a set of modern facilities also in place which is meant to make fine and pleasurable learning experience. In the centre of AIHE's academic resources is its very well-stocked library holding over 8,200 books spread out over a large number of disciplines, supplemented by a set of periodicals and journals. State of the art laboratories for several departments are distributed across the campus which consist of a Science Lab, Educational Psychology Lab, ICT and Educational Technology Lab, Physiology and Health Education Lab, Human Performance Lab, and an Athletic and Rehabilitation Lab. The auditorium and sports facilities facilitate extracurricular activities and events. The institute also takes proper care of students through the provision of amenities such as a canteen, health center with first aid facilities, and a gymnasium. AIHE has a guest house for visiting faculty and family members of the students, which creates a pleasant atmosphere for everyone. 

AIHE provides full-time courses on the field of education at all levels for would-be teachers, teaching professionals, and those interested in training programs. There are seven programmes of academic portfolio offered by the institute which includes B.Ed, B.P.Ed, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, D.El.Ed, BA B.Ed Integrated and B.Sc B.Ed Integrated. These courses provide students with theoretical knowledge along with practical skills for pursuing their career successfully in education. The overall approved intake of all courses of AIHE is 507 seats, a good number that highlights how the institute focuses on maintaining high-quality education alongside a very huge number of students. 

There are merit-based admissions. They take proper care to be transparent. In most cases, namely B.Ed, B.P. Ed, M.Ed and M.P. Ed, admission will be based on marks scored in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. In some places, state government, UT administration, or affiliating university may have policies for additional processes of selection. For instance, the B.P.Ed programme is considered to encompass an overall evaluation, which comprises a written test, fitness test, and interview, along with determination of percentage in the qualifying examination. In like manner, the D.El.Ed, BA B.Ed Integrated, and B.Sc B.Ed Integrated programmes are on merit basis for admissions and thus, meritous aspirants are offered the opportunity to pursue a desired subject area of study.
