Aryavart Institute of Higher Education (AIHE), Lucknow, is a self-financing institution that offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the field of education. The institute follows a merit-based admission process to ensure transparency and fairness in selecting students. AIHE is affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and abides by the admission policies of the state government, UT administration, and the affiliating university.

It offers a total of seven programs in the field of education, namely B.Ed, B.P.Ed, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, D.El.Ed, BA B.Ed Integrated and B.Sc B.Ed Integrated. Application Process

Following is the process of admission application at Aryavart Institute of Higher Education, Lucknow:

1. Announcement of the Admissions: AIHE announces the beginning of the admission procedure for a number of programs through the official website and other media.

2. Obtaining an Application Form: Candidates are required to fill in an application form pertaining to the program of their interest. The same may be obtained online by visiting the institute's website or in physical form, from the admission office of the AIHE.

3. Document Submission: The candidate must submit all required documents along with the duly filled application form. The list of some of the relevant documents includes: -Mark sheets of qualifying examinations

• Entrance exam score card, if applicable
• Character certificate
• Transfer certificate
• Migration certificate, if applicable
• Caste certificate for candidates from the reserved category
• Any other document as specified by the AIHE

4. Application Fees: Candidates should pay the prescribed application fee. Payment mode and amount may differ against various programs.

5. Entrance Examination: Candidates must appear for the relevant entrance test for the program they seek on the fixed date and venue.

6. Merit List Preparation: Based on marks in the qualifying examination, if any, in the entrance examination, and additional criteria as may be prescribed by the program, the merit list of eligible candidates is prepared by the institute.

7. Counselling and Document Verification: Candidates who are shortlisted will then be called for counselling and document verification. During this process, the candidates will be required to produce all original documents for verification.

8. Fee Payment: Upon successful verification and allocation of a seat, the candidate must pay the program fee within the timeline to confirm their admission.

9. Admission Confirmation: After completing the above computations, a candidate's admission shall be confirmed, and he or she shall be enrolled in the chosen program at AIHE.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed: The B.Ed program in AIHE has an approved intake of 100 seats, while the basis of admission is merit according to marks in qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The selection process dates back to the state government policy, UT administration, and the university.

B.P.Ed: The B.P.Ed program has an intake of 50 seats and a constituency for comprehensive selection. This includes the written test, fitness test, interview, and qualifying mark percentage. The overall-performance appraisal in the above components leads to the preparation of a final merit list.

D.El.Ed: The D.El.Ed program has an admission capacity of 50 seats. The admission procedure is considered on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The selection process follows the policies of the state government, UT administration, and the university.

BA B.Ed Integrated: For 50 seats, this integrated course has a merit-based admission process based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Depending on the policies of the appropriate authorities, some other holding criteria may come into play.

B.Sc B.Ed Integrated: Following the basic principles noted above for the BA B.Ed Integrated, it too operates for an intake of 50 seats.

M.Ed: M.Ed admission is based on merit from marks in the qualifying and entrance examinations. M.Ed selection may have further criteria following state government, university, and UT administration policies.

M.P.Ed: For M.P.Ed admission is on merit of marks made in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Selection will follow the mechanisms defined by the government of the state, UT administration, and the university.
