AWH College of Education was set up in 1996 at Cheruvannur, Feroke, Calicut, Kerala and is an affliated college. A new programme was introduced in AWH College of Education with regard to admission whereby the process differs from one programme to another. For B.Ed programmes, they use entrance to admit students. Admission for the M.Ed programme is divided intake 50% through university level examination conducted by the university and remaining 50% through management quota on merit basis. For admission to D.El.Ed, the management takes into account the score achieved in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, as per the norms prescribed by the state government. The B.Ed Special Education (Hearing Impaired) programme provides 50% direct admission intake and 50% through management quota.
