Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The B.Ed course consists of 50 approved intakes at Best College of Education, Tadepalligudem. Entrance is through the merit obtained in the Education Common Entrance Test conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for admission to the B.Ed course. The admission process is based on merit from the Ed-CET applying the reservation policy of the government. This is a modernized two-year course and aims to teach students for secondary schools.
D.Ed (Diploma in Education): D.Ed also has a sanctioned intake; hence fifty candidates can be admitted. Of course, unlike the B.Ed program, the admission of D.Ed is strictly on a merit basis. This merit may be adjudged either on the basis of marks obtained at the qualifying examination-usually 10+2-or through an entrance examination, depending on the running policy of the Andhra Pradesh government. The D.Ed is a two-year course on primary school teaching preparation.
