BLDE Association’s Shri Sanganabasava Mahaswamiji College of Pharmacy and Research Centre is well established in Vijayapura built in the year 1982. This affiliated college is located on a 45 acre land and is known for its standard in the production of pharmacists. Having NAAC accreditation and affiliated to AICTE and PCI, the venue provides students with 13 courses in 4 different programmes. The college has 492 students in its strength whereas faculty members are 54, reflecting the appropriate student teacher ratio. 

The BLDE Association’s Shri Sanganabasava Mahaswamiji College of Pharmacy and Research Centre has available and offers the most potential and complete learning and development support services to the students. The campus contains two unique hostel facilities; hostels for male students and female students which provides adequate and comfortable accommodation to the students. An example of a Learning Resource Centre comprises of books, journals and other forms of publication that are useful in academic engagement. The college has built more of comprehensives where practical lessons are taught through laboratory sessions of Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy comprehensives. Consequently, students participate in exercises and physical activities that are facilitated by gym and sports facilities. There is also a health centre with an emergency station, a hall for workshops and presentations, and a cafeteria on the territory of the campus. 

Pharmacy courses being offered by the Shri Sanganabasava Mahaswamiji College of Pharmacy and Research Centre of BLDE Association. The institute offers 13 full time programmes at under graduate, post graduate and doctoral levels. B. Pharma programme which is the four-year professional Undergraduate programme constitutes the first step in its pharma education with a total of hundred seats. At postgraduate level the college provides the following specialisations in M.Pharma M.Pharma Pharmaceutics, M.Pharma Pharmaceutical Chemistry, M.Pharma Pharmacy Practice, M.Pharma Pharmacology, M.Pharma Pharmacognosy, M.Pharma Pharmaceutical Technology and M.Pharma Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance. The Pharm.D and Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate programmes are institution based admissions programmes for students pursuing professional degrees. However, undergraduate course is also available in the form of Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) in the college.
