    Mahaswamiji College of Pharmacy and Research Centre, Vijayapura. The college provides a spectrum of programs to meet the requirements of the various levels of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral studies in pharmacy. The institute is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), ensuring the quality of education and compliance with industry standards.

    The process of admission is structured so as to sieve out the deserving candidates for its various pharmacy programs. The institute offers a total of 13 courses in different levels of study among them being B.Pharma, M.Pharma, Pharm.D, D.Pharma, and Ph.D programs.

    Undergraduate admissions are for B.Pharma as the primary program while the D.Pharma course applies to those interested in studying to become pharmacy technicians. At the postgraduate level, there are several areas of specialization under M.Pharma including Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacy Practice, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Technology, and Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance. The Pharm.D and Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate programs are under the auspices of this institution.

    Application Process

    Degree-wise Admission Process

    B.Pharma: Completion of a four-year undergraduate program. Eligibility includes completion of 10+2 or equal with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. Admission consisting of academic merit with an entrance exam score is possible.

    M.Pharma: Two-year postgraduate program. Some specializations include:

    1. Pharmaceutics

    2. Pharmaceutical Chemistry

    3. Pharmacy Practice

    4. Pharmacology

    5. Pharmacognosy

    6. Pharmaceutical Technology

    7. Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance
      Eligibility: B.Pharma degree. Admission may involve checking of GPAT or entrance tests by the Institution.

    Pharm.D: A six-year program. Eligibility: 10+2 with appropriate science subjects.

    Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate): A three-year course on B.Pharma graduates.

    D.Pharma: Diploma for two years. Must complete the eligibility for 10+2 with science subjects.

    Ph.D.: Doctorate research programs offered in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmacology. Eligibility: A master's degree in the relevant field. Selection could be through entrance tests and interviews.
