Central Library, being part and parcel to the education and research system, is playing a vital role in the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT). It provides information support and functions as a nerve center for academic and research activities around which the progress of university is realized. The Central Library serves a wide range of users’ viz. undergraduate students, postgraduate students, research scholars, scientists, teachers, administrators and other staff/employees of the university present in headquarters and other outlying colleges and research stations.

Health Centre has been established on the main campus to cater to the needs of the teachers, staff, and students. Research infrastructures are the main strength of the University. About: The complex was initially established as Gymnasium which was inaugurated by Justice Shri S. N. Shankar, ex-Governor of Odisha on 13th July 1976. Later on, it was converted to Sports Complex. A well-equipped gymnasium hall is available for the students and staff for different physical exercises. The students of different faculties of O.U.A.T., participate in regular practice and coaching. The students are being nominated every year to participate in Zonal Inter-University and Inter Agricultural University Games and Sports Meets. Infrastructural Facilities: Gymnasium hall with two multi-trainer, weight training equipment, weight lifting set, and trade mill. 1 No Indoor Hall for Badminton and Table Tennis. 1 No Playground for Football with the provision of 200 mt.
