This is one of the oldest college of the State which is known for it's football ground. The infrastructure if the college looks like old government school. The classrooms is not maintained properly. Not good infrastructure.
The curriculum is well updated, Most of the professors are genuinely good. Though the worst part is the students as there is no regulation of mandatory attendance so most of the students use to come for exams only.
Worst college if you want placement. The college has no academic body even for clubs and activities so can't expect placement committee. The college charges nominal fee so you shouldn't expect everything from them.
The college infrastructure is quite good inspite of the oldest college of Uttrakhand. The building are old though classrooms has all the facilities. The laboratories has also all the equipment. The library is Good too.
All the professor are so good in term of knowledge as well as they helped the students in all field. The course and curriculum is also as per the government curriculum. As the college is academic centric so it's good for academic.
The college isn't meant for students who want placement. Even the course has not much industry exposure so students aren't get ready for corporate after this course. So if you want placement you can opt for other college.
The college has old building though well maintained infrastructure. The campus has all necessary facilities like library, laboratories and sports ground. The campus lies in the centre of city which makes the commutation easy.
The course covers all the necessary syllabus which makes the students well aware of all the course. The practical laboratories makes the chemistry interesting. The college has more focus on academic which is good about it.
As there is no exposure to industry in our course, there is no campus placement after this course. Most of the students don't do internship so getting placement without any experience isn't practical at all
Oldest college football in city, rich history but infra needs update, qualified teachers tho, paid parking is available , recommended for the students who want to prepare for government jobs from the very first year
Not good, no regular classes, attendance ratio is very less as compared to other well affiliated colleges,student-teacher interaction is 2/10, Class environment -3/10, other facilities 1/10 Not recommended
Just degree, no placements No chance of placement, Attendance ratio is very low among students Not recommended for students who is looking for career opportunities via placement, Placement probability 0/10
Less fee, value for money 10/10
No campus
Recommend for the students who want to start their government exam preparation without college stress
The college campus is well inspite of being one of the oldest college. The infrastructure is well maintained. We have good classroom, library is also spacious. There is a common ground with limited sports facilities.
The professors in the college are good but some faculties are not well experience. Even students are not regular in attending college as they have their other commitments as well with the college so it depends on your interest whether you want to be academic centric or not.
As the college haven’t any placement team, there is zero campus placement opportunities in college. Most of the students do graduation with other coaching class as college is so flexible in term of attendance.
Our college is one of the oldest college of Dehradun with well maintained infrastructure like laboratories for practicals, library for self study and resources. Though classroom are of old style but in well condition.
The teachers of our subjects are well aware of the knowledge of their field and are having experience of a lot of years. New education policy is follow by our institutions now so the curriculum is updated.
In science stream, it’s common that no placement opportunities are there and our college follow the same pattern. Even bcom students don’t get placement from the college so for placement, our college is not suitable.
Dav college is one of the oldest college of Dehradun so its infrastructure is not so fancy. Classroom are old school type. Library facility is their in the college for all the students. We have a big ground too for sports.
The faculty of pg students is so good. The teacher are so experienced and well qualified. They try to engage students during whole lectures. Our course curriculum is as per the guidelines of central government.
Unfortunately, Dav college have no placement and internship opportunities for the ug as well as pg students. Most of the students do graduation from here just for the sake of degree. The college is academic centric only.
The college campus size is fine but the building blocks are quite old. We have some facilities inside thee college like common ground. For Science students, The lab is there. The library is big with good resources in the college which is better.
The course of the college is well. We have updated curriculum. But professors are somewhat lazy as they do not give lectures regulalry. Maybe Its because of the student attendance as most of the student bunk college.
The college do not facilitate placements for the students. As the fee of the college is nominal, There is no fund for conducting campus placement drive in the college. All the students go for masters degree after college.
The college Infrastructure is not good, The classroom are old model one, Labs and ground is not well maintained. Building are not upgraded by the college management.Though fee of the college justify it.
The course and the curriculum is well updated as per New Education policy. Though only 20 percent students visit college regulalry. The professors do not show such interest in Lectures, The practical part is not good in classes.
People go to this college just for the sake of college. The college offer zero opportunities for the placements. None of the student got placement from this college, Mostly student prepare for government jobs with the college.
The college lacks hostel and Wi-Fi facilities, and therefore students need to make their own arrangements for staying there and live on rent. But the campus itself is quite big, with neat and clean classrooms, a decent library, and sparse sport facilities. The infrastructure is decent enough for study but students need to make arrangements for staying there themselves.
The faculty is trained and qualified, particularly in humanities and social sciences. The faculty is encouraging and allows the students to engage in discussions and self-study. The exams are of medium difficulty level, and with sufficient knowledge of the subjects, the students can perform well. The course is properly structured to offer a good academic foundation, but more efforts are required to offer career opportunities.
placements for courses such as BA are zero. No placement assistance is provided by the college to the BA students, and they have to work hard themselves in order to get placed or proceed for higher studies. While professional courses have relatively good placements, BA students get no direct recruitment from the campus.
