11 specialisations are available for B.A. under BSM PG College. Admissions are made according to the marks secured in the 10+2 examination. Specialisations provided are History, Hindi, Geography, Economics, Sociology, Sanskrit, English, Political Science, Drawing and Painting, and Home Science.
The college offers 3 specialisations in B.Sc., namely, B.Sc Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics, B.Sc Botany, B.Sc Agriculture and B.Sc Zoology. Admission is on the basis of merit, taking into account the performance of the candidate in 10+2 science stream.
There are two types of B.Com., viz. regular B.Com. and B.Com. with Computer. Admission is through marks obtained in the 10+2 examination, with preference being given to commerce stream students.
The college offers 7 specialisations in M.A., which are MA Hindi, MA History, MA Economics, MA Sociology, MA Sanskrit, MA English, and MA Political Science. Admission is on the basis of marks scored in the respective bachelor's degree.
M.Com. (Master of Commerce) course takes in students on the basis of their performance in B.Com. or any allied undergraduate degree.
B.Lib.I.Sc. and M.Lib.I.Sc. (Library and Information Science) courses are meant for students interested in library sciences. A bachelor's degree is necessary for B.Lib.I.Sc. admission, and an M.Lib.I.Sc. degree is necessary.
