    Minimal opportunities for growth.

    College Infrastructure

The Infrastructure of DN college leaves much to be desired. While a few classroom have been renovated, many others still have outdated furniture, poor-ventilation and non-functional fans. There is no hostel facility available, which is inconvenient for outstation students.

    Academics

The Teaching staff includes a mix of passionate and indifferent professors. While some faculty members do make an effort to explain topics well, others rely entirely on textbook repetition and do not engage with students.

    Placements

ONE of the most disappointing aspects of DN college is its almost non-existent placement support. No structured campus recruitment drives are held, and students are largely left to navigate the job market on their own.

    Lack of opportunities and growth.

    College Infrastructure

The College infrastructure is mediocre at best. While Wi-FI, a basic library and computer labs are available, they feel outdated and poorly maintained. However, medical facilities are available but need some improvement.

    Academics

Although most faculty members are academically qualified and hold PhDs, the teaching experience is inconsistent. Some teachers are genuinely invested in helping students, but many rely heavily on textbook teaching with little real-world application.

    Placements

The Placement opportunities for B.Com students at DN College are rather underwhelming. Only a small fraction of students, managed to secure jobs through campus placements. While companies like TCS and HP were mentioned, the roles were limited and mostly not core commerce related.

    College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is functional but simple and not high-tech or modern. ACs are not available in the classrooms, and there are hardly any rooms equipped with projectors, which are used hardly ever. The benches are outdated and extremely uncomfortable, especially for long classes.

    Academics

The teaching faculty is the largest asset of the college. Faculties are extremely experienced, supportive, and polite. They explain concepts properly and, if possible, illustrate means of relating concepts to real life in order to facilitate understanding.

    Placements

No placement centers exist for B.Sc. students in D.N. College, Meerut. The majority of the students after the completion of the course continue their studies like M.Sc. or sit for competitive exams. No campus recruitment or internship camps are offered by the college for undergraduate science students.

Good for Academics and Degree purposes

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is functional but not very good. Some of the classrooms have been upgraded, while others require repair. Wi-Fi is unavailable to students in general, and laboratories are average, but okay for routine practicals. The library is good and a pretty good collection of reference books, though limited on digital materials. Hostel facilities are available but not usually utilized by B.Sc. students.

    Academics

The faculty is cooperative and mature, particularly in science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Zoology. Some of them take extra efforts to assist students in research or higher studies orientation. However, the syllabus is outdated in some areas and less industry-specific.

    Placements

Honestly, DN College has no functioning placement cell or organized campus recruitment process for B.Sc. students. The majority of the students either prepare for government jobs, pursue higher studies, or seek jobs on their own after graduation.

    College Infrastructure

The campus of D.N. College is very basic and old-fashioned. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology laboratories are operational, but some equipment is old. Classrooms are spacious but don't have smart boards or ACs.There is no hostel facility or limited hostel facilities.

    Academics

The D.N. College faculty members are well qualified, with most possessing Ph.D. degrees and years of experience in their chosen subjects. The faculty members are well-versed and accessible, particularly for students pursuing research or academic professions, but less industry-oriented.

    Placements

A majority of the students opt for this course out of academic interests or to make themselves ready for competitive exams like UGC-NET, CSIR, or for post-graduation studies. Though campus drives happen periodically, core science-related placements are scarce.

    College Infrastructure

The overall infrastructure of DN College falls short of what a modern academic environment should offer. Many classrooms lack proper ventilation, fans are broken or non-functional during peak summer, and basic cleanliness in washrooms is often neglected.

    Academics

The teaching staff is average. some professors are knowledgeable, while others seem disconnected or indifferent. Lectures often feel rushed, with more focus on completing the syllabus than ensuring actual understanding.

    Placements

The placement opportunities at DN College are barely encouraging. There is no structured placement cell that actively supports students in getting placed. While a few students may land jobs or internships, it's mostly through personal connections or external applications, not college efforts.

    College Infrastructure

The campus holds its own unique charm. Classrooms are well-kept and evolving, Internet flows steadily across common study zones, and the central library is a treasure chest for commerce enthusiasts, lined with books on accounting, economics and entrepreneurial strategy.

    Academics

The faculty is the backbone of the B.Com department. Teachers don't just teach, they mentor, motivate and map out learning paths tailored to each student. Many hold doctorate degrees and bring experience from academia and industry alike.

    Placements

While the college may not promise dream jobs on a silver platter, it cultivates an environment rich in opportunities. Career workshops, networking events, and internship link-ups with local businesses and financial firms ensure students are well-acquainted with professional terrain before they graduate.

    College Infrastructure

The college provides a bare minimum infrastructure. Classrooms are good but not up to date, and the science labs have the equipment required for practicals, but some of it is old. The library is good for reading, but there is not much else besides the basics. There are no cutting-edge facilities, and Wi-Fi is not usually available to students. The campus is large with a canteen, but the food is limited. Sports facilities are available, but they are in poor condition.

    Academics

The teachers know their subject matter well, especially in the main subjects, but they mostly stick to traditional teaching methods. Being present and scoring well in internal exams is counted towards your final scores, but honestly, self-study is very important if you want to score well or prepare for future exams like IIT JAM, CSIR NET, or other entrance exams.

    Placements

There is not much campus placement for undergraduate science students, and the majority of students either pursue higher studies or sit for competitive exams after graduation. There are no companies visiting the campus for B.Sc. placements, so if you are job-hungry after completing your degree, you might have to search yourself.
