D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): This D.El.Ed provides a two-year full-time study of Ghatal College of Education and approved for intake to 50. The admission procedure for D.El.Ed follows the same pattern as B.Ed and is merit-based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam and/or entrance exam. The selection process follows the policies of the state government of West Bengal or UT administration. Candidates who have completed higher secondary education (10+2) are usually eligible to apply for the D.El.Ed program.
