Government Ayurved College, Nanded, is one of the prime institutions that were initially established in 1956 for Ayurved education and research. This affiliated college, located in Vazirabad, Nanded, Maharashtra, got approval from CCIM. Spread over an 11-acre campus, GAC Nanded offers degree courses in 13 specialisations with a total student intake of 664. It has a strength of 45 faculty members to ensure quality education in different Ayurvedic specialisations. This government institution shoulders the responsibility not only for the preservation of knowledge of traditional Indian medicine but also for reaching it to more and more masses by adopting modern healthcare techniques.

Government Ayurved College is committed to developing the learners not only with a good learning environment but also with all the basic facilities. There is a library that acts as a knowledge hub for these students, having a huge collection of Ayurvedic texts and research materials. Laboratories in various departments are well-equipped, and the students get enough practical experience in subjects of their choice. An auditorium that holds seminars, conferences, and cultural events adds to the lively academic atmosphere. 

The campus has a cafeteria that provides healthy and nutritious food to students and staff. A well-maintained health centre with first-aid facilities looks after the well-being of the college community. Excellent IT infrastructure is available to support modern teaching learning methods. The sports facilities encourage physical fitness and team spirit among the students. There exists an active alumni association with close interaction with past graduates. Such interaction brings in benefits to the current students through networking. Guest house facilities are available in the college, which provides comfortable accommodation to visiting faculty and family members of students.

GAC Nanded offers a wide spectrum of programmes in Ayurveda at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Currently, there are 13 courses running under the college; the two most prime ones are BAMS and MD, MS with different specialisations. For all the courses, a total of 664 is the approved intake, thereby showing its capacity to groom a large number of future Ayurvedic practitioners and specialists.

The admitting procedure at Government Ayurved College, Nanded is aimed at choosing the most meritorious students to its different courses. Undergraduate: Admissions to the undergraduate BAMS course in the college are based on the common admission procedure of the state. For admission to PG courses MD and MS, the admission is mainly based on the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test. This national-level examination will provide equal opportunity to all candidates spread all over the country in getting admission to a particular seat in its special programmes. 

The final selections of the candidates shall be based on the AIAPGET score, along with other criteria fixed by the concerned state authorities. Government Ayurved College, Nanded (GAC Nanded), as an institution for Ayurved teaching and research. North America is the area where Vazirabad in Nanded, Maharashtra by this college enjoys the status of being recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) and provides various graduate and postgraduate courses. The admission process at GAC Nanded is made for reserving seats for selecting the most meritorious students for all courses. All admissions are BAMS-oriented at GAC Nanded under this admission procedure of the State of Maharashtra. MD and MS courses, which are offered by postgraduate admissions, are often based on the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET).

  4. Subject to participate in the centralised admission process to be conducted by the state. 

For MD/MS Programs:

  1. Qualify in the AIAPGET test. 
  2. Register for the PG Ayurveda counseling process of the state.
  3. Complete the application form for GAC Nanded online.
  4. Upload all required documents including the BAMS degree certificate, internship completion certificate, and AIAPGET score card.
  5. Pay the prescribed application fee. 
  6. Take part in the counseling process according to the schedule announced by the state authorities.

This process includes verification of documents, followed by seat allotment based on merit and preferences. Following all instructions given by the college admission and state authorities becomes necessary for all candidates so that a smooth application process can rule out possible contingencies.

Degree wise Admission Process.

BAMS: Admission to the BAMS program in GAC Nanded is based on the state's common admission procedure. For this program, there are 125 seats available. Candidates should have completed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

MD/MS Programs: GAC Nanded offers admission in various MD and MS specializations in Ayurveda. Admissions for these master's degrees are primarily on the basis of scores obtained in AIAPGET. Following specializations are offered by the institute:

It is to be noted that all candidates seeking admission into any of the MD/MS programs must complete their Bachelor's Degree in BAMS and qualify in the AIAPGET examination. The final selection, thus, relies on the score attained by the applicant in AIAPGET as well as other criteria specifically defined by state authorities.

College building Infrastructure is old but in good condition And all necessary facilities and equipment are available in college. Classroom, library, physiology and anatomy lab are there . Hostel are available for girls and boys . And the college situated in main city .

Your rank around 450 but you are not mention your category so if I assume you are from UR CATEGORY than according to previous year cutoff there are no chance to get seats in AIQ government college but you may get seats in BAMS or BHMS.
