Ranking Methodology: The colleges are ranked as per the cumulative score that they have received. The college that has got the maximum cumulative score will be ranked first while the college that has got least cumulative score will be ranked last.
The college Girls hostel consisting of 12 rooms is attached to this institution with the necessary catering facilities. The hostel is under the control of the principal who is also the warden of the hostel and is assisted by the deputy warden. The residential tutor assists the deputy warden in the general administration of the hostel and in maintaining discipline among the student A committee of student representatives manage the hostel mess. The mess rate is calculated under dividing systems. All applications for admission to the hostel shall be made to the chief warden in the prescribed hostel.
In The college, All members of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the polytechnic and all the full-time students on the live rolls institutions are members of the library. Part-time staff and visiting lecturers are also members of the library. The library is kept open from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm on all working days. Students members will be allowed to borrow two books at a time from the library and to remain with them for a period of not more than 14 days. If the book is not returned within the time allowed a fine of Rs.10 per day of default with be collected and the defaulted will not be allowed to borrow any other book till the fine is paid. Staff members will be allowed to borrow three books at a time and to retain them for 20 days and renewal may be made if necessary. On the expiry of the renewal period, the book must be returned to the library. All students members shall return the books borrowed by them at least six days before the final examination either at the end of the academic year or the semester as the case may be No book will be issued to students members during the vacation. Staff members can borrow books throughout the years subject to rules 6 and 10 All books borrowed from the library shall be returned before the 30th of April even if the 14 days have not returned from the date of issue and no book will be lent during the period 0f annual stock verification.
