Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is a full-time three-year course diploma offered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Eligibility Criteria

Admission to First Year:

Candidates for admission to the Diploma Course shall be required to have passed the SSLC Examination of the Board of Secondary Education, Tamilnadu. (or)
The Anglo-Indian High School Examination with eligibility for Higher Secondary Course in Tamil Nadu. (or)
The Matriculation examination was conducted in Tamilnadu. (or)
Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the SSLC Examination by the Board of Secondary Education, Tamilnadu.

Direct Second Year: A pass in HSC or Equivalent (Maths/Vocational group) for Engineering and Accountancy for MOP

No Age limit for all communities.
