Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Government Polytechnic College, Udhagamandalam Offline Course

a)The Candidate who passed the  Conditions for Admission to First Year

 Candidate for admission to the Diploma Course shall be required to have passed the SSLC Examination of the Board of Secondary Education, Tamil Nadu.   (or)

The Anglo-Indian High School Examination with eligibility for the Higher Secondary Course in Tamil Nadu. (or)

The Matriculation examination is conducted in Tamil Nadu. (or)

Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the SSLC Examination by the Board of Secondary Education, Tamil Nadu.

 b) Eligibility for admission to the Second year

 A pass in HSC or Equivalent (Maths/Vocational group) for Engineering and Accountancy for MOP

The admission will be restricted to 10% of the sanctioned intake of the Polytechnic in all branches for both Academic and Vocational Stream candidates.

 Note: In addition, at the time of admission, the candidate will have to satisfy certain minimum requirements which may be prescribed from time to time with regard to the marks in the qualifying examinations and subject to the usual reservation for SC/ST, BC, MBC, DNC & OC.

c) Age Limit

No Age limit for the all community.
