    Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), Sonipat was established in the year 2009. The campus spreads over 80 acres of land. JGLS is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The College offers integrated (BA LLB, BBA LLB), undergraduate (LLB, BA (Hons)), postgraduate (LLM) and doctoral (Ph.D) courses in various domains. JGLS is affiliated to O.P.     JGLS is located at Sonipat Narela Road, Near Jagdishpur Village, Sonipat, Haryana. Rathdhana Railway Station is 3.9 km away and will take around 15 minutes to reach the College. Hindon Domestic Airport is 48.1 km away from the Institute. Students can take a bus or a cab to reach Jindal Global Law School.

    • Human Rights Society: This Society works through grassroots activism and spreading awareness about the systemic oppression faced by millions of people around the world.
    • Legal Aid Clinic: This is also known as Clinic Legal Aid Society. This society is a student run clinic. The Clinic has separate groups focusing on basic rights such as the right to education, right to health, right to information, etc.
    • Raqs (Dance Society): This society is for dance lovers. To become a part of this society, it conducts auditions every year and shortlist only the most gifted and hardworking dancers.
    • SOCH-Documentary Society: This Society raise awareness and drive social change through screening of documentaries.
    • Social Service Society: This society runs various activities on and off campus. Various initiatives done by this society include teaching children at the Balgram orphanage, the children of the Sodexo staff, and the children at the Rohat primary and secondary school, etc. 
    • Gender Studies Group: This Group engages in gender sensitive dialogue to understand the nuances of varied identities and explore the subtleties of social constructs through diverse forms of media expression.
    • Abhivyakti- The Society for Hindi Literature Poetry and Art: This Society appreciates every form of art and creativity with dance number to the classic shayari in JGLS.
    • Awaaz- Jindal Women and Law Society: The aim of this society is to stop any kind of discrimination taking place in the campus. It also brings out gender biases.
    • Aperture, Jindal Photography and Visual Arts Society: This Society welcomes students of all ages. It also promotes participation and enjoyment of photography in a good humored, relaxed and supportive environment.
    • IP Society: Students in this society works in close association with the Centre for Intellectual Property and Technology Law (CIPTEL). It also encourages students to tackle emerging IP issues through panel discussions, guest lectures, colloquiums, thematic events and research projects.
    • Quiz Club: The Quiz Club helps students gain insights on the non-academic aspects of business and understand the dynamics and opportunities that govern the business.
    • Make India Bold: This Society conducts coherent gender-neutral awareness workshops on sexual harassment in schools across the country.

    The college is pretty good and provides a good ambience for studies and also encourages the students to take part in other things. Though they need to look into the cleanliness and hygiene of the college.

    Hello,

    Jindal global University situated in sonipat, Haryana , the college offer 2 five year Integrated law course BA-LLB and BBA-LLB. And 3 year program for undergraduates. And 1 year LLM residential PG course . The institute is a self Financed Institute


    The admission taken in the college on the basis on Entrance exam LSAT and JSAT . The mode of Application in the college is online. The registation date for LSAT is 9 june.

    Is it compulsory to live in hostel of op Jindal global law school or one can live in home ??

    Yes, according to the policy of o.P Jindal Global University each and every student of the law school has to reside in the hostel provided by the University. The fees of the op Jindal Global Law School hostel is so high around 2.76 lakh. Along with the residency facility the hostral also provide the facility of food to the students and also of attached bathrooms. The rooms of the o.P Jindal Global Law School is distributed on sharing basis.  However during the time of corona pendemic for students were not allotted hostel.
