Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), Sonipat was established in the year 2009. The campus spreads over 80 acres of land. JGLS is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). - Rotaract Club: This club is awarded for its outstanding activities & contributions for organising medical camps, blood donation camps and multiple awareness camps on social issues.
- Sports Society: This Society encourages students to participate in different sports and tournaments organised at national and international level.

- Music Society: This Society is for the music lovers. The entry to this society will be done by auditions. These auditions are headed, conducted and judged by faculty.
- Debate Society: This Society organises debate competitions and also conducts various lectures and speeches in events.
- Human Rights Society: This Society works through grassroots activism and spreading awareness about the systemic oppression faced by millions of people around the world.
- Legal Aid Clinic: This is also known as Clinic Legal Aid Society. This society is a student run clinic. The Clinic has separate groups focusing on basic rights such as the right to education, right to health, right to information, etc.
- Raqs (Dance Society): This society is for dance lovers. To become a part of this society, it conducts auditions every year and shortlist only the most gifted and hardworking dancers.
- SOCH-Documentary Society: This Society raise awareness and drive social change through screening of documentaries.
- Social Service Society: This society runs various activities on and off campus. Various initiatives done by this society include teaching children at the Balgram orphanage, the children of the Sodexo staff, and the children at the Rohat primary and secondary school, etc.
- Gender Studies Group: This Group engages in gender sensitive dialogue to understand the nuances of varied identities and explore the subtleties of social constructs through diverse forms of media expression.
- Abhivyakti- The Society for Hindi Literature Poetry and Art: This Society appreciates every form of art and creativity with dance number to the classic shayari in JGLS.
- Awaaz- Jindal Women and Law Society: The aim of this society is to stop any kind of discrimination taking place in the campus. It also brings out gender biases.
- Aperture, Jindal Photography and Visual Arts Society: This Society welcomes students of all ages. It also promotes participation and enjoyment of photography in a good humored, relaxed and supportive environment.
- IP Society: Students in this society works in close association with the Centre for Intellectual Property and Technology Law (CIPTEL). It also encourages students to tackle emerging IP issues through panel discussions, guest lectures, colloquiums, thematic events and research projects.
- Quiz Club: The Quiz Club helps students gain insights on the non-academic aspects of business and understand the dynamics and opportunities that govern the business.
- Make India Bold: This Society conducts coherent gender-neutral awareness workshops on sexual harassment in schools across the country.

Jindal Global Law School Admission
Jindal Global Law School, Sonipat offers BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLB, BA Hons, LLM and PhD. Candidates aspiring to take admission to integrated Courses (BA LLB/BBA LLB), LLB and Doctoral Courses (PhD) offered by Jindal Global Law School have to qualify Law School Admission Test (LSAT) whereas admission to BA (Hons) is offered on the basis of the merit of the qualifying examination. Verification of documents and payment of the requisite fee is the last stage of the admission process and admission to the respective courses shall be confirmed only once the fee is paid and all the documents get verified. Jindal Global Law School admission process is given below in details:
For Integrated Courses (BA LLB/BBA LLB):
- Candidates have to register online for Law School Admission Test (LSAT).
- Candidates should appear and qualify for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT).
- Final admission will be done on the basis of the marks scored in LSAT Examination.
For Undergraduate Courses (LLB/BA (Hons)):
- For LLB, candidates have to register online for Law School Admission Test (LSAT).
- Candidates should appear and qualify for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT).
- Final admission will be done on the basis of the marks scored in LSAT Examination.
- For BA (Hons), candidates should qualify 10+2 examination or equivalent with at least 45% marks.
- Final admission will be done on the basis of the marks scored in 10+2 examination.
For Postgraduate Courses (LLM):
- Candidates have to register online for Law School Admission Test (LSAT).
- Candidates should appear and qualify for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT).
- Final admission will be done on the basis of the marks scored in LSAT Examination.
For Doctoral Courses (Ph.D):
- Candidates have to fill an online/offline application form.
- Shortlisted candidates have to appear for an entrance test followed by an interview process.
- UGC/ CSIR/ JRF/ NET/ SLET (Haryana State) or any other similar examination qualified candidates will be exempted from the entrance examination.

According to the admission criteria for the Jindal Global Law School you need to first register to write the Law School Admission Test and then you need to submit the admission details to the Jindal Global Law School website when you apply for the admission.

To get admission in Jindal Law School which is a part of OP Jindal global university you should score minimum 80 percentile for the 5 year integrated law program course and minimum 60 percentile to get admission in 3 year LLB program course in the college.

Talking about Symbiosis Law School,Pune and Jindal Global Law School,Sonipat.Both colleges are considered as the best private colleges for LAW in INDIA.But if we look towards the fees of these 2 colleges,Jindal Global Law School is much expensive than Symbiosis Law School,which is drawback for those who want colleges at affordable price.Now if we talk about the placements,Jindal Global Law School placement is better than Symbiosis Law School,but it does not cover the ROI.So,both the colleges are in TOP 3,but its your choice that whether you want college at affordable fees or college with high fees and good placement.
