66 MonthsBachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery is a 5.5-year (four and a half years duration course followed by a compulsory rotatory internship of one year) full-time course. Offered by Pt Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University of Chhattisgarh, Raipur, and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate's age must be at least 17 years.
- The candidate's age must not be more than 25 years.
- The candidate who has passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from the Chhattisgarh board or any other board recognized by the Chhattisgarh government with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
- The candidate belonging to the Unreserved category is required to score at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. For the SC/ST/OBC category, it is 40%.
- The candidate must secure the minimum required percentile in NEET UG.
Admission Details
Students from various parts of the country can be admitted to the institute as per rule (15% of seats are allocated on the basis of selected NEET (UG) candidates & 3% of seats are of Central Government Nominee) Rest 82% seats are allotted to the State candidates on merit, who have successfully cleared NEET (UG).
