I will suggest you to call on the numbers provided by them in their Contact us section. If they are not responding to your email instead of wasting your time on waiting for the email reply, call them on their numbers available.

Admision in NIFT Institutes is based on ranks. And it is very difficult or almost impossible to tell the exact number of required marks in the interview. Merit list released based on Rank not marks and what marks will lead you at what rank, I think it is not possible to predict.

Suppose you have got 65.25 and if you score 15 in your interview then your total marks would be 80.25 but the Cutoff fluctuates every year, so it can't be said that you will be among the top rankers or you will be among the bottom rankers. The cutoff depends upon various factors like-

1. Number of Candidates participated in the exam

2. Performance of the Candidates in the exam

3. Difficulty level of the question

4. The number of Candidates passing the exam

So if you can get to know your rank then it would be very beneficial for you.

There is no free seats in NIFT. You have to follow the following rules:

1. You will need to pay your first semester fees
2. Study well and maintain more than 90% attendance
3. Apply for NIFT merit cum means scholarship
4. Involve as a assistant in projects undertaken by your college professors which pay you per hour
5. Freelance projects to supplement your earnings
6. Budget properly use college resources (library, labs) to the full

The salary depends on your placement history and also on your college.Generally you can easily expect a salary of package about 5-6 LPA.With good academic records you can get a good packaged job and also you can get one if you are from a good college.A total of 39% of the total graduates recruited were placed in Retail companies. This was followed by Fashion Brands (20%), Designers / Design houses (19%), export houses / buying houses and agencies (16%).

Well you can opt for fashion and designing in your master with English literature bei g your bachelor course. Private colleges don't usually have this criteria where they ask you to have a bachelor's in fashion and designing to opt for masters in the same. But sometimes some colleges may ask for a bachelor degree in the same field. That information is easily available on respective colleges websites under the eligibility criteria for their master degree program.

There are a variety of courses for which you can apply in the National Institute of Fashion Technology colleges all over India, which includes accessory designing, cloth wear and footwear designing, fashion communication, bachelors in fashion technology, fashion designing and various other courses.

But, need to complete your graduation any specific stream before taking up any postgraduate courses in these institutes.

Well, if we compare these colleges for masters, then please read whole answer carefully.

First of all, FDDI Hyderabad. This college is comes under the government of India and affiliated to INI. This college is best know for its FDDI NOIDA campus and best for footwear technology, retail management courses and have great placement.

NIFT Bangalore. This colleges is also comes under the governemnt of India and affiliated to INI. This college is best know for its many campus and best for fashion designing and fashion communication courses and they give you great placement.

Pearl Institute. This college is good but not as good that of both above college.

Both are top fashion institutes in India as both comes under Government of India where NIFT comes under Ministry of Textiles and FDDI comes under Ministry of Commerce & Industry. FDDI - Domain areas - Footwear, Leather goods and accessory design, Fashion design , Retail and Fashion merchandising. NIFT - Domain Areas - Textile, Apparel , Fashion, Knitwear , Accessory Design, Fashion Tech.

FDDI has attained the status of institute of national importance under FDDI, Bill 2017 so its has been elevated to quite a good position as far as the status is concerned.  College with 100% placements are a surety but Most of students get placed in brands stores as fashion consultants i.e sales personnel and very few(2–5 from every batch) gets chance to work in back end with good profile such as merchandiser or marketing assistant.

NIFT is anytime better than FDDI, but if not selected in nift then fddi can be considered. Most of fddians after graduation prefer to pursue post graduation from nift.
