National Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi, is an independent body of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Union of India. This is a more advanced postgraduate program. Rs. 192,000 would be the total amount payable for tuition. Applicant eligibility usually requires a corresponding bachelor's degree. PGD Mass communication advertisement and Journalism:
This is a postgraduate diploma that tends to have a strong practical focus. The full payment is Rs 98,000. The parameters of admission should include a bachelor's degree and an aptitude test or interview.
Diploma in Mass Communication, Advertisement and Journalism:
This course is a diploma program for those intending to take a shorter and more concise program in the field. The total fee is Rs 98,000.

The basic eligibility criteria for BA mass communication, students need to pass 10+2 from a recognized board of education.
Candidates also should have scored 50% in 10+2.
Admission is done on the basis of entrance and merit based .
Some of the entrance exams are CUCET and TANCET.
Many colleges/universities offer admission to students on the basis of their 10+2 marks .Some colleges also give scholarships to the students.
The maximum fees of the course from private and government college is 13.50 LAKHS and 2.95 lakhs respectively.

Hello aspirant,
There is rarely any top university which gives admission in mass communication and journalism on merit basis. But some private colleges like IILM ( institute of integrated learning and management University) offers BA in mass communication on merit basis. Manipal University has also cancelled their entrance test due to the covid-19 pandemic and Is giving admission on merit basis.
I would still suggest you to appear for an entrance test to get a good career in mass communication and journalism and to get the right exposure.
