Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed Marathi Medium: The course provides 80 seats for those students who want to become teachers in the Marathi medium schools. The admission process in the course will be as per merit based on marks scored in the qualifying examination. In a few situations, an entrance test or other selection procedures might be held according to the policy of the state government, UT administration, and the university.
B.Ed Gujarati Medium: Like the Marathi medium course, this one too has a capacity of 80 seats. It is for students seeking to teach in Gujarati medium institutions. The admission process is also the same as above based on merit considering the marks in the qualifying exam and/or performance in entrance exams if given.
For both schemes, the eligibility conditions generally are a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. The candidates are chosen on the basis of their academic record and their potential to become future teachers.
