Seva Sadan's College of Education, established in 1966, is an important destination for academic training located right at the centre of Thane, Maharashtra. Admission The pattern of admission to the Seva Sadan's College of Education varies with the course. B.Ed : Admission to the B.Ed course is centralised. Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Ed.: With a sanctioned intake of 100 students, the B.Ed. program at Seva Sadan's College of Education is a two-year course conducted on behalf of the Government of Maharashtra through the Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited (MKCL). The two-year curriculum prescribed by the University of Mumbai for this course is followed by the college.
M.Ed: M.Ed course intake is 50. The merit list is used in the selection process, considering the qualifying examination as well as entrance marks. In accordance with state government policies, University of Mumbai, and policies of the UT Administration, the selection process is followed.
D.El.Ed: The D.El.Ed program provides 40 seats for schools that don't offer elementary education in the first grade. This course uses the same admissions procedure for matriculation merit as the M.Ed program. Hence, it's determined using the qualifying and/or entrance examination scores. The guidelines from the state government, UT Administration, and the university are followed for selection.
