About Satyawati College, Delhi
Satyawati College, Delhi was established in 1972 under the Government of Delhi. The college is a part of the University of Delhi and all the admissions and other regulations are followed in accordance with Delhi University. The name of the institute was kept after the great freedom fighter, Behen Satyawati, grand-daughter of Swami Shradhanand. The college lies over an area of 10 acres of land providing various academic and infrastructural facilities including academic blocks, sports, gymnasium, cafeteria, health centre, transportation, seminar halls, auditorium, staff quarters, computer centre, classrooms, family counselling centre, library, environmental studies lab etc.

The nearest airport from the institute is the Indira Gandhi International Airport which is located 24.2 km away and students can reach the campus in about 37 mins. The nearest railway station from Satyawati College, Delhi is the Old Delhi Railway Station which is 8 km away and students can reach the college campus in about 22 mins from there. Kanhaiya Nagar Metro Station is the nearest metro station which is 2.4 km away and students can reach the campus in approximately 6 mins from the metro station.

Clubs, Committees & Societies:-
NSS- National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Youth Programme which is established under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Students of Satyawati College, Delhi have also conducted various programmes under this scheme including international yoga day, blood donation, leprosy campaign, swachh bharat, literary campaign, mass cleaning, mass tree plantation, road traffic awareness, sand sculpturing, polio vaccine, disaster management, PFMS training etc. to spread awareness among the common people.
NCC- N.C.C has been formed inside the campus to show the importance of living a disciplined life among students which also helps them contribute their part towards the development of the country. The students of the N.C.C group also take part in various other activities including Para Sailing, Gliding, Para dropping, Training Camps, National Integration Camps, Rock climbing and Mountaineering activities Boat Pulling/Sailing and Ship Modelling etc.
Utkarsh Arts & Culture Society- The members of Arts & Culture Society of Satyawati College, Delhi indulge themselves in various creative activities like designing college t-shirts, hoodies, posters to develop their creative and cultural skills in music and dance. Students are encouraged to join this club to polish their artistic and cultural skills.
The Third Act Dramatics Society- Members of this Society involve themselves in different types of activities including drama, acting, theatres etc to develop their acting skills. Students here get a platform to develop some extra skills apart from academics.
Photography & Filmmaking Society- The Photography & Filmmaking Society of Satyawati College, Delhi captures all the wonderful moments of joy and happiness. All the pictures and videos needed to be taken are clicked and edited by the members of this club. This club provides a platform to students where they can show their creativity in terms of photography. It also motivates other students to join this club so that they can learn and develop skills in photography.
Abhivyakti Debating Society- The Debating Society of Satyawati College, Delhi aims to develop the debating skills of students.
