Sheodeni Sao College, Arwal Admission Process

Sheodeni Sao Collge, Arwal and is one of the premier co-education constituent colleges, located in Kaler, Bihar, India. The college offers a variety of undergraduate courses and completes its admission process based on merit.  Admission in Sheodeni Sao College is open and on merit. This is especially true for the university, which is one of the major collegiate educational institutions in the region. Normally, the college begins its admission cycle before the academic year's commencement, which is usually around July - August. 

Usually, the eligibility criteria for admission into the college include successful completion of 10+2 or its equivalent from any recognized board. Admission is primarily based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Although the cut-off percentage varies from program to program and year, generally speaking, candidates would be expected to have a good academic background in their chosen area of study.

  • Two recent passport-size photographs

5. Application Submission: Submit the completed application form with all the required enclosures to the college admission office within the time limit.

6. Merit List: The Institution will prepare and publish merit lists on evaluation of candidates through their respective performance in specific qualifying examinations. 

7. Counseling and Seat Allocation: The shortlisted candidates may be called for counseling sessions in which they choose their preferred course depending on their merit rank and seats available.

8. Fee Payment: Candidates admitted into the program should pay the requisite admission fees within the stipulated time prescribed. 

9. Document Verification: The college will carry out a complete verification for all submitted documents. Admission confirmation is made only after successful verification.

10. Orientation: Its compulsory for most new students to attend an orientation program in which rules of the college and facilities available for use and expectations in the academic arena are introduced.

Degree wise Admission Process

The college offers four undergraduate programs to cater to different academic interests and career aspirations:

Bachelor of Arts (B.A): The BA program at Sheodeni Sao College is a full time three-year course. Admission to the BA program is on merit from `merit list prepared by marks obtained in the 10+2 examination. The students can choose from a variety of subjects in Humanities and Social Science.

Bachelor of Science: The B.Sc program is also a full-time course. Admission to study is merit-based for the 10 + 2 score of the science subjects. The college offers several specializations under the B.Sc program.

Bachelor of Computer Applications: This B.C.A. program is three years professional degree courses. Admission into the B.C.A. program involves merit consideration using the list prepared from the 10 + 2 results. An advantage may be availed by students who passed mathematics or computer science.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA): The BBA program is a three years professional course that prepares students for management careers. The admission will depend on the merit list prepared from 10+2 examination results, with a preference for students who had scored well in commerce or related subjects.
