Only in the year 2012, Sigma College of Architecture emerged as one of the reputed colleges situated in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. This is a co-educational institute with the campus area of 2.87 acres and main goal is to educate professional Architects and Planners of the country. Sigma College of Architecture is also recognized on account of the fact that it is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Holders of the degree of bachelor of architecture from the college are approved by the council of architecture to practice their profession. Sigma College of Architecture offers two comprehensive architecture programmes: It offers a five-year professional first degree, the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) and a two-year postgraduate Master of Architecture (M.Arch). The B.Arch programme is a full time course with a intake capacity of eighty students and the M.Arch programme has a total intake of twenty students. The outlines of both programmes are based on the fundamental concepts of architecture, the main trends in architectural design, as well as the principles of sustainability.
