Sree Narayana College of Education, Muvattupuzha Admission Process

Sree Narayana College of Education, Muvattupuzha, is a leading teacher training institution in Kerala. Affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), this co-educational college offers comprehensive programs for aspiring educators. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education):
The Sree Narayana College of Education provides 150 seats for the B.Ed program. The admission to this program is merit-based, taking into account the marks secured in the qualifying exam and/or entrance exam. The selection is as per the policies of the State Government, UT administration, and the University. This is a two-year full-time course aimed at imparting practical skills for a teaching career.

M.Ed (Master of Education):
The M.Ed course has an intake of 50 seats. Entry to this higher course is also merit-based, taking into account marks from the qualifying examination, entrance test, or any other selection process according to Government and University regulations. This two-year course deals with educational management and higher teaching methods.

Both B.Ed and M.Ed courses can be studied as full-time or part-time programs, providing students with greater flexibility. Emphasis of the college on the two major programs enables specialization to the core in teacher training.
