Tetri Chandravansi College of Education, Garhwa, is one of the eminent colleges for teacher education in India. The college has duly taken recognition from NCTE and provides an atmosphere conducive to education on a huge campus. The admission procedure selects worthy candidates for its teacher education programs. Therefore, the college follows merit-based admission criteria for admitting candidates.
The vice-chancellor's office of the university sets the rules and regulations for the conduct of the admission process. The basis of merit for admission to most programs shall be determined on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and (or) the results of the entrance examination.
Eligibility criteria vary from program to program; however, in general terms, candidates are expected to have completed their qualifying examination from a recognized board or university. The parameters laid down by the college regarding merit in the qualifying examination, where applicable, will also refer to the performance in relevant entrance examinations.
Application Process
1. Check Eligibility: A candidate must assess if they fulfill the criteria for selection for that qualified program (B.Ed, M.Ed, or D.El.Ed).
Application Form: Obtain the application form and fill it in.
2. Interested candidates should talk to the admission office for information on how to get the application form.
3. Preparation of Documents: All documents that may be needed are prepared, which typically consist of:
Mark sheets of qualifying examinations
Entrance exam score cards (if applicable)
Proof of birth date
Community certificate (if applicable)
Other types of certificates as may be relevant for the institute
4. Submission of Application: The completed application form along with all documents must be submitted before the last date.
5. Merit List: The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination in accordance with the policies of state governments, UT Administration, and university authorities.
6. Counseling and Admission: After declarations of the merit list, the shortlisted candidates will be called for counseling and document verification and payment of admission fees.
7. Enrollment: Once the candidates are admitted, they will be enrolled in the respective programs and start classes at the college.

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education)
Intake Approved: 100 students
Admission: Based on merit, considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination
Selection Process: As per the policy of the state government, UT Administration, and affiliated university
M.Ed (Master of Education)
Intake Approved: 50 students
Admission: Admission is by merit considering marks in the qualifying examination and that of the entrance examination.
Selection Process: As per the policies of the state government, university, and UT Administration
D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education)
Approved Intake: 50 students
Admission: Admission is on merit considering marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.
Selection Process: As per the policy of the state government and UT Administration
