Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery is 5.5 years full time course, which include 4.5 years of curriculum plus 1 year of rotating internship. It is offered by Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai and recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI).
Ranking will be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained by the eligible candidates in the prescribed science subjects in the qualifying examinations reduced to the base of 200 marks. The marks obtained through different boards will be taken into account after normalization.
1. Candidate should be a citizen of India
2. Nativity: Candidate should be a native of Tamilnadu
3. Age: Should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December (Evidence to be produced)
The candidates under Physically challenged Category- (Locomotory disability of lower limbs alone). OC/BC/BCM/MBC/DC should have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in each prescribed subject in the qualifying examination.
