The prospective candidates must have possessed a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university to be eligible for the B.Ed. program.

D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education): The D.El.Ed. program is also a two-year full-time course with an intake of 100 students. Admission to the D.El.Ed. program is merit-based, based on the candidates' performance in the qualifying examination (10+2) and/or an entrance test. The admission procedure follows the guidelines given by the state government and relevant educational authorities. The minimum eligibility for admission to the D.El.Ed. program is the completion of higher secondary education (10+2) from a recognized board.
