University BDT College of Engineering was established in the year 1951 at Davangere, Karnataka, India, is well known technical institution. At the post graduate level this college offers a course in M.Tech in Production Engineering Systems Technology. University BDT College of Engineering follows the CET admissions procedure for the Undergraduate and PGCET for the admission of the Postgraduate programmes . It is their policy to set out candidates for selection based on their merit then reserve candidates as dictated by the state government policies. This makes the entrance to the course or programme to be noble and all the qualified candidates are accorded equal chances. For the undergraduate admissions, the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is accepted and for the postgraduate admissions the Karnataka PGCET is considered.
With its programmes, UBDTCE is interested not only in academic achievement but in the student’s holistic education. College has well equipped playground for all major games like cricket, football, hockey, basketball, tennis, volleyball, kho-kho, ball badminton etc. For indoor games there are facilities for chess and carom boards as well for some other indoor games. The annual sports and athletic meet provided the students with the opportunity for talent demonstration in the various competitions. Also, a multi-gym facility which contains 12 station is present in the college which helps the students sustaining their physical Hawaiian. It possesses a cooperative canteen that prepares good tasty meals at cheap prices, a health centre, and adequate parking space for faculty, staffs, and students.
