The B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) programme is a full-time professional programme offered by VPR College of Education for two years and it has an intake of students totaling to 100. VPR College of Education admission for this programme is conducted on the basis of Ed.CET conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Therefore, it is mandatory for candidates to possess a bachelor's degree to fulfill the requirements for the eligibility of taking Ed.CET. Based on Ed.CET merit, centralised counseling fills 70% of the total seats (100 seats). Following that, the reservation rules will be applied. The remaining 25% (25 seats) are filled by the management from Ed.CET qualified candidates.
The D.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) programme is two years duration full time and has 50 seats. VPR College of Education admissions into this course will also be done on the basis of the DEECET (Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test). The minimum qualification required for applying for DEECET is passing the intermediate course in the respective concerned subjects. The admission procedure gives 80% of seats (50 seats) to centralised counseling on the basis of DEECET merit, and management fills 20% (10 seats) from qualified DEECET candidates.
