About IVRI Bareilly

The Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) Izatnagar was established in 1889. IVRI is one of the research institutions dedicated to livestock research and development of the region and an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Institution. The Institute has been conferred the status of Deemed to be University with effect from 1983. The IVRI Izatnagar is ranked 5th amongst Agriculture and Allied Sector by NIRF Ranking in the year 2024.

Indian Veterinary Research Institute Bareilly awards degrees to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in more than 20 disciplines of veterinary and animal sciences, livestock products technology, basic sciences and extension education. The IVRI Bareilly offers courses for B.V.Sc, M.V.SC and Ph.D programmes in veterinary preventive medicine, animal husbandry, veterinary biological products, animal reproduction, poultry husbandry, medicine and surgery, zoo and wild animal health care and management, meat and meat products technology. Hello there,

You need not to wait for VCI Counselling. IVRI conduct its own counselling on its portal. In VIC counselling, 15% seats are for All India Quota (AIQ). IVRI have seats reserved for all categories. So, you can apply directly to IVRI portal for counselling.

what is the cut off marks and rank through icar exam for getting into mvsc at ivri ,izatnagar

Hi Aspirant ,

NTA is conducting ICAR AIEEA UG 2020. So far, the examination has been moderate in the level of difficulty but exerts say it was tougher than NEET. Candidates scoring 50% – 40% will have good chances of securing a seat in ICAR colleges. The cutoff marks are prepared after the results are announced. Cutoff marks are decided based on the number of candidates appearing the exam and the total number of seats available .I'll list the cutoff marks category wise :

General - Your score must be around 450 and rank is 400.
OBC - For OBC , the mark is 430 and rank must be 680.
SC - score is 365 and the rank is 2550 .
ST - score is 310 and rank is 4550.
