Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya Nagaon was established in 2014. Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya Nagaon is a state-private university approved as per Union Grants Commission norms. The college offers different courses at 3 distinct levels. Interested candidates can pursue courses in Hindi, Human Resource Management, philosophy, Biotechnology, Mass Communication, Public Relations and Social Work.
MSSV Nagaon offers BA (Hons), BPA, and B.Sc. at the undergraduate level, and M.A., M.SW., LLM, PGD, PGDCA, and M.Sc. as postgraduate courses. Ph.D. and M.Phil. are the doctoral programmes. Admission into UG and PG courses is given based on merit acquired in the qualifying examination. Whereas for admission into M.Phil programmes are given based on the NET/SLET/ ICAR/GATE scores acquired by the students. Admission into PhD courses is given based on the entrance exam conducted by the university and the JRF/SRF/UGC/CSIR NET scores that are applicable.
Additionally, the MSSV Nagaon includes a placement department that provides undergraduate students with prospects for employment along with competitive pay packages.
