The campus of the institute spreads over an area of 30 acres of land. Boys hostel, girls hostel, library, IT infrastructure, laboratories, etc are some of the NID Bhopal facilities. The institute accepts scores of DAT for the B.Des programme admission. For NID Bhopal admission to the programme, candidates have to appear for DAT Prelims and DAT Mains. NID Bhopal cutoff is released to shortlist the candidates for NID DAT counselling. The cutoff is released after the declaration of result. Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities- This scholarship is awarded to candidates who have minimum 50% marks in the previous final examination and have an annual family income up to Rs. 2 lakhs. Under this scheme, Rs. 3,000 per annum is awarded.
Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses- To avail the scholarship, candidates should have minimum 50% marks in the previous final examination. Annual family income should also be up to Rs. 2.5 lakhs. Rs. 20,000 per annum is awarded under this scheme.
The placement cell of the institute provides placement assistance, placement training, career counselling and internship assistance to the students. Recruiters visit the campus for the NID Bhopal placement drive. They conduct pre-placement talks to brief about the job prospects. The NID Bhopal placement cell makes all necessary arrangements on the placement day for the smooth conduct of the final recruitment process. After the selection of the candidates, they are handed the offer letters through the placement cell.
