Aklia College of Education for Women, Bathinda, is dedicated to the training of the future educators only for women. The college is affiliated with Punjabi University, Patiala, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE, and offers the two main education programmes: B.Ed and D.El.Ed. The Aklia College of Education for Women admission policy aims at selecting qualified candidates from among girls interested in embarking on a teaching profession.
