Aklia College of Education for Women, Bathinda was set up in 2005 as affiliated college that prepares future educators. Situated at Goniana Mandi in Bathinda, Punjab, it is a women’s only college which occupies a very small area of 6.70 acres. The college is acknowledged by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which lays emphasis on quality education. It caters for 341 students in total academic population and 22 in total faculty population; this college offers two courses only in education specialisation.
