BITT Polytechnic offers admissions to diploma, BCA and BBA programmes at diploma and undergraduate levels. At diploma level, various specialisations are offered which include Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Cloud Computing and Big Data and so on. Admissions are offered based on merit and entrance examination. Candidates should appear in the entrance examinations conducted by JCECEB for admission to diploma engineering programmes. BITT Polytechnic Ranchi is affiliated to SBTE Jharkhand.
BITT Polytechnic Ranchi has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell. It organises communication and presentation skills training, industrial visits, in plant training, mock interviews and some other training sessions to prepare students for the corporate world. BITT Polytechnic facilities include an auditorium, laboratories, banks/ATMs, parking facility, sports facility, a library, common rooms, classrooms, seminar hall, medical facility, wifi facility, an I.T infrastructure, and some other facilities.

College Infrastructure
College doesn't have necessary infrastructures and facilities. There is no parking space for students and parents. College have small library, labs are not well equipped. teachers are nice and they are supportive. College doesn't return caution money

College Infrastructure
This college doesn't have any infrastructure, poor canteen, no parking available for student as well as parents. Library is small and very less books are available. There is no hostel facility available in the college. No wifi available for students. They don't return caution deposit
Overall it's a good college for Diploma.

College Infrastructure
College has decent big classrooms and equipped labs.Each classroom has cctv installed.Library has technical as well as non technical books,it has magazines and daily newspapers.A small seminar hall is there where mostly all events are conducted.
