Don Bosco Institute of Management Studies and Computer Applications (DBIMSCA) and offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the fields of management, commerce, and computer applications. The Institute is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and runs a well-established admission process to select bright and enthusiastic students. The admission cycle at DBIMSCA usually runs parallel to the academic cycle. Hence, applications ordinarily open during the early months of the calendar year for programs that start around August-September of the same year. For admission into the different programs, the institute utilizes one or the other of the various existing national or state-level entrance examinations.
Undergraduate programs such as BCA, BBA, and B.Com are open primarily for admissions depending on the performance of the candidate in the 10+2 examination. All the scores from the national-level entrance tests such as CAT (Common Admission Test), KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test), and Karnataka PGCET (PostGraduate Common Entrance Test) shall be considered for the MBA admission. Different programs will have different eligibility criteria. In general, for undergraduate courses, a candidate should have completed his/her 10+2 from a recognized board. For the MBA, a candidate should have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. There may be additional academic requirements regarding the cutoff percentage, which are also traditionally declared sometime before the commencement of the admission process.

Undergraduate Programs (B.Com, BBA, BCA):

Degree Wise Admission Process
B.Com: The Bachelor of Commerce program conducted by DBIMSCA has an intake of 100 students, with admission based purely on performance in 10+2 examinations focusing on marks in commerce subjects. It aims at providing a sound foundation in commerce and business studies.
BBA: The BBA program from DBIMSCA allows an intake of 60 students. The 10+2 performance of applicants will be taken in great consideration, giving preference to those from commerce business studies. This program aims to develop managerial and entrepreneurial skills in students.
BCA: The Bachelor of Computer Applications program of DBIMSCA allows for an intake of 120 students. Admission is based on candidate performance in 10+2 examinations, with emphasis placed on mathematics and computer science scores. This program is designed to develop exceptionally strong technical skills as well as programming skills.
MBA: The MBA program of DBIMSCA allows an intake of 120 students. Admission into the MBA program is very selective and competitive. Students are selected based on their performances on national-level entrance examinations like CAT, KMAT, or Karnataka PGCET. The selection process may consist of:
Mid level academics provided as mostly some of the teachers are inexperienced and inefficient in providing the most basic requirements while on the contrary, there are other senior teachers who do have a good grasp over their subjects but so far for me, the level has been pretty mid. There are no industrial visits too
