Dr Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology, Pollachi was established in 1998. The college endeavors to impart high-quality, competency-based technical education in Engineering and Technology to the younger generation with the required skills. The modernization of transport fueled a thought on the importance of technical education. The MCET Pollachi offers UG (13), PG (6) and PhD (8) programmes with specialisations.
Dr Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology, Pollachi also called MCET Pollachi courses are BE/BTech, ME/MTech, MCA and PhD. Admission into BE/BTech is given based on the TNEA counselling process whereas admission into ME/MTech, and MCA are given based on TANCET scores while admission into PhD admission is given based on the entrance exam conducted by the college. MCET Pollachi is a private and autonomous college affiliated with Anna University, Chennai and accredited by NBA with a grade of A++.

At this stage it is quite difficult to predict the rank with the given some as the rank depends on various factors such as normalisation of marks, highest score in the exam, total number of candidates appeared etc. If it is TS EAMCET then marks scored in qualifying examination that is Intermediate second year will given 25% weightage and 75% weightage is given for marks scored in TS EAMCET. In case of AP EAPCET there is no weightage given for marks scored in qualifying examination.
With the given score your rank is expected to vary in between 40,000-50,000. Do note that this is only the estimated rank. The actual rank is going to vary based on the factors mentioned above.
